Interdisciplinary dance performance at the Parade

At JM Gallery, the Parade exhibition by artist Misha Milovanovich featured an interdisciplinary dance performance Echoes of the Self,  navigated profound conversations through movement. The evocative collaboration of Jin Yau, Yuke Chen, and Gloria Xintian brought this vision to life in London. The raw presence of clay, sand, paper, and stones converged with fluid movement as the performers explored a relationship that transcended verbal communication, reflecting the deep, unspoken intimacy of internal dialogue. Through this powerful interplay of dance and material, the stones—both still and alive in their own right—became vessels of the body’s language, speaking through each gesture and touch, creating an evocative space where the conversation within unfolded in motion.
